TED Open Translation Project & Calling HE Translators
Posted by natalie on 03/5/10 in TEDxTelAviv
As you may know, the TED Open Translation Project brings TEDTalks beyond the English-speaking world thanks to the work of 1000’s of tireless volunteers who offer their professional translation services free to TED.
Thank You HE Translators
There are currently 172 talks in Hebrew – making Hebrew on of the most translated languages on TED. And we wanted to take the time to say a huge thank you to all of you who have been making TED talks available in Hebrew! You can read about them & watch TEDtalks in Hebrew here.
As part of our thanks, we have 3 seats to TEDxTelAviv specifically for the TED HE translators. The seats will be granted to the top translators.
If you are a TED Hebrew Translator, contact us or leave a message in the comments with your email and a link to your TED translation page for your chance to be a part of TEDxTelAviv on the day.
To help make more talks available in Hebrew (& other languages): here’s how to become a TED translator.
